The Little Acorn Child......

......is done!

We're into the last few weeks of winter now, with the promise of Spring all around - warmer days, wind, sun, blossoms. It feels great to be alive!
Here's another doll I'm working on:

And look! The other day my husband came home from a little shopping trip with a guilty look on his face, saying, "I did something very bad". Bad, bad Bob! Look at the size of that baby! This is what happens when children who had chocolate-deprived childhoods grow up!

  1. Love your little dark skinned gal.
I also like the chocolates. Great shopping I say.

  2. Thanks Kay......unfortunately my husband has gone away for a few days, leaving the half-eaten box of chocolates......you know what that means!

  3. It has been enjoyable to watch "The Little Acorn Child's" progress. And of course, she is another little beauty. Congratulations on your Thursday's Child in Prim...beautiful doll!

  4. Beautiful doll...such a sweet face:) You're going into spring and our summer is ending. I'm happy that fall is coming as we have had an extremely hot summer with drought. Too hot to do anything really. The brisk weather gets me going again:)

  6. Susie, your Acorn Child is so sweet! I love the look of the one you are working on now.
And yes, he was bad....he should have let you pick the first one. :)

  7. Your little Acorn Child is beautiful as are all of your dolls.
I usually wait until the holidays for chocolate buying because I feel less guilty at being bad. Hubby does look like he's enjoying his purchase.

  8. See, I came here to comment on the dolls but I stayed to see the chocolate. What an angel he is!

The big blue button on Acorn's cardigan is just perfect!
