New Work
Here is a sculptural piece I have had in the works for a while; now finally finished. This piece is called 'The Smell of Sleep'. I've also posted a new picture of 'Sweet Charity' with her hair under a bit more control!
Wow, I am always amazed at your work...there's so much emotion in your faces...so ethereal too. Just stunning! And thanks so much for putting little Hope on your blog, I really appreciate it!
Hi Susie, thanks for your encouragement! If you are on ebay you can simply type r2rd in the buy search and Hope will show up in the listings. Or Civil War Black Doll will probably work, too. No one seems interested in her just yet, but you never know!
Hi Susie, a very emotional piece, I love the name what a great concept! I still want to talk about you coming to Newcastle to teach. You said your going overseas soon? We can think about after that maybe? I do really like your work! cheers Bobbi

ReplyDeleteSusie, as I posted on ADO,
ReplyDeleteyour Sleep piece belongs in a highend art gallery. It is incredible.
I was pretty happy with this piece - glad to see some of what I was trying to convey has hit the mark! Thanks all for positive comments.

ReplyDeleteVery interesting, Susie. I find myself leaning a bit more toward my painting side right now. I love seeing it all, though.
