Messing around with wool

I love doing needle-felting - I find it very relaxing (though you have to be very vigilant with those sharp needles - it is easy to miss the wool and stab yourself) Here some things I made this week

Cute little critters...

I began by buying a couple of tiny bears on line.... then I figured what the hey! I can do this too...now I'm addicted.

You're right about paying strict attention to where you are stabbing! ouch, ouch! It really does hurt when you miss the wool....

Susie your needle felted creatures are fabulous. I Love doing it too, as you say , very relaxing except when you stab yourself!! Funny thing is I an a diabetic and i poke myself many times a day and think nothing of it, but just poke with a pin or one of these needles and i'm through the roof!!!Go figure, anyway it is worth any pain VBG

Hi again! I'd love you to add my blog, I added yours this morning. And thanks so much for the needlefelting tips, now if I could just squeeze out a little time to give it a try...maybe when school starts!
Take care,

Susie- just noticed "doggie" whiskers. How did you do them? What are they made of? Embroidery floss that is stiffened?
