A Very Prepared Little Red!

I've just finished this doll for the CWT "Little Red Rides Again" online event.

This Little Red is not your usual sweet, naive little girl.........no........this Little Red is thoroughly prepared for an encounter with a lupine gentleman. The book she clutches is called 'Canis Lupus - A Study', so she will not be caught unawares by a chance meeting in the forest. Forewarned is forearmed, as they say!
Thanks to everyone who has already left a comment on my last post - celebrating 100 followers. I'll be revealing the prize and conducting the draw next weekend, so there is still plenty of time to join in the fun!

Dear Susie,
I can't tell you how much your book on painting faces has helped me! I am so excited and will be posting the doll and the painting study I have done soon.

"Red" does look "not so innocent" at that and boy does she need the knowledge in that book...lol...I love the story element of your doll! Awesome! My fav actor/actress are appearing in "Alice in Wonderland" ... I wish that I had the skills some of you sculpting artist have....Johnny Depp will be playing the mad hatter and I already want to make a doll like his character ... Hillary Bonham Carter is playing the Queen of Hearts.... would love to make both these dolls! I think I may try to paint the messy mix over a cloth...I am so inspired! Anyhoo, your work is very inspirational....will keep coming here! Maybe you can make some suggestions!
