What I'm Working On
Here are a couple of pictures of what's on my studio table awaiting completion. I kind of like how things look in their not-yet-finished state and I often have the thought that I should make a white doll and leave it at that. Maybe one day............

There is a kind-of beauty in the unpainted sculptures. I once saw an exhibition of fabric sculptures in white, and they were very beautuful. You notice the "forms" more. Good work Susie.
These are lovely Susie, all white may be a fun thing to do.
I in admiration from your dolls! BRAVO!!!
Oh these are fantastic...A white doll would be marvelous.
I think the same thing Susie! I like the totally white look of my Paperclay doll sculpts. The forms, light and shadow really speak to me!
How about a doll challenge for those that are interested...... 'Beyond the Bone'......?
I love work in progress!!
It is already stunning!
As always, your work is pristine, gorgeous at any stage, and I cannot wait to see them finished!
Looking wonderful! I know what you mean about the white state. In that way they still retain all their possibilities. :-)
It's sort of the same wonder as looking at a blank page...all the wonderful possibilities still to be discovered....but in 3D!
It's really fun to see your work in progress. I also see you are going to be teaching at AFIC next year. I am so excited about that. I can't make it to Annie Hesses MM&M this year. But, will be at AFIC if at all possible.
BEAUTIFUL! Already BEAUTIFUL!
Completely gorgeous as always Susie!
I love the 'all-white doll' idea too....am about to start on one that I've been planning for a couple of months.
Would love to see what you would do with this idea.
lovely! what is that interesting object to the top right of the photo???
stunning
These are wonderful the way they are! You are right, there is a certain beauty that comes from these pieces in their unfinished states. I encourage you to create a white doll. I think it would be lovely. I'll be watching for the finished versions on these you currently have in the makes!
Hugs,
Lori
It is already beautiful.

Thanks for the supportive comments, all - I'm almost convinced about the "white doll" thing - ideas are beginning to form!
Canngil, the object you are wondering about is going to be a frog - hopefully by the end of today.
