This is how I dry my dolls in winter.......the studio fire is a lovely warm place for speeding up the drying process, but it looks a little less than dignified for the poor dolls who end up like this! The other picture is the same doll painted and waiting for some clothes - patiently, but just slightly annoyed. She's going to be dressed in white, I think.

wonderful work Susie...
Oh, she's a gymnast! And beautiful, Susie. I love the hair.
Thanks! Dixie, I'm liking this way of doing hair (as you have probably deduced ;-)
The next one will have to have a hand-knotted mohair wig, though and that takes a day to do.
Lol...the indignities we subject our poor dolls to. I have one in an extremely undignified position while her hair and wings dry...mine looks annoyed too. :)
Omigosh! She is just gorgeous!
Thanks for sharing a bit of your process. I can't wait to see what you are teaching at AFIC next year.
:) I agree with Dixie, she is a gymnast! No indignity, skill and agility!
Wow that face is amazing! Just georgous. Can't wait to see her dressed
Wow,what a beautiful face.
It is a funny picture, but she also looks like a gymnast. I so much enjoy your postings!
