On Grandma Duty

I'm spending a few days in the south of the state looking after my son's children, while he is in the Kimberly region of Western Australia scoping out an exciting job opportunity.
So I'm doing the grandma thing........ baking cakes and biscuits and spoiling them rotten. Still finding time to do some of my own work - good thing it is easily transported!

Here's the view from the front window of my son's house in Taroona and a pic of the little IW doll I'm working on.

Lovely view from the front window! That beautifully made IW doll only serves to prove you do great work no matter where you are...lol!

Really nice view, really nice doll that you are working on! I was wondering how you managed to get some work done and take care of your grandchildren at the same time, my only son, 2 year-old toddler, barely lets me get something done! Enjoy your weekend :)

I hope you have a great time! And I absolutely adore your IW pattern. I've made lots of dolls with it. She just looks so sweet, sitting there in her birthday suit.

Thanks, all.
Margarita - these grandchildren of mine are ranging in age from almost eight to almost seventeen, so they mostly do their own thing - I'm just here to wash, cook, get them out of bed in time for school and be taxi-driver! Took the little one for a walk to the beach yesterday & took some nice pictures, which I will post later- its lovely to have a really nice little beach just a hop and a step away from the front door!
