I have just found you blog via Jackie Morris and am so glad I did. I just love those - what do you call the boxes? I think of them as little mini-theatres; and the poem / nursery rhyme is exquisite. You have made my day.
Thanks Anne, Jackie. I don't know what I call these, Anne - small-scale mixed-media sculpture probably covers it! My husband thought this one reminded him of the dioramas he used to make from cereal boxes when he was a child (no money, buckets of creativity). There are a few nods to your original painting in this one Jackie.....hope you like it (and I've crossed my fingers that it survives the long trip - I did pack it well).
