I am working on this new doll - here are some progress pictures - she is based on my "Izannah Walker" design, but I have taken a few liberties with the head by giving her a moulded hairstyle and I plan to paint her in a more detailed way.
I have noticed that my blog has achieved a few milestones just recently - I have passed 200 followers and visitors to my blog is now exceeding 10 000. So to celebrate these milestones, I going to have a giveaway. All you have to do is respond to this post by leaving a message and I will draw a winner on May 1st. Not sure what the prize will be yet, but it will be something hand-made by me.........so if you want to be in the running, just leave a message on this post.

I'm thrilled for you, Susie! Of COURSE I would like to try for your give away! After a record setting flood (we NEVER get floods), Spring has beautifully sprung, and everything is in flower, practically overnight. Very inspirational. I just moved, which is why I disappeared for a while, but I am just starting to get back to doll making...joy!
Hi Susie

I love your work and thank you for the chance to win something from your hands. Looking forward to your visit to the states in October. The weather should be gorgeous that time of year, so I hope your visit will be a good one!
Hmmm, you always lift me up when I see your new creations.
I rather like the fact that you have given her hair a bit of sculpting.
Dont win give aways but have to be in for at least a try for it.
I was given a link here by my polymer clay site. These are inspiring dolls!
My friends and I have been making dolls from your molded masks and patterns. They are so lovely and make beautiful dolls.
At the dinner table, what animal is in the blanket, about to, or has just been given a bottle? at least I think it's an animal rather than a baby!! gosh, think I better go and look again - don't wish to offend anyone!
Ok, I'm pretty darn sure it's a fur baby :O)
Came to check out your blog and see what you're up to - wonderful stuff as usual - would love to be in the running for your giveaway!
best,
Melody
