A Road Less Travelled............

I haven't written a post here for a while..........making big adjustments in my life and getting used to a new way of being. And licking my wounds a bit.
But I have been working in my studio and making plans for the future (more about that in a future post, but it IS exciting!) And I have been clocking up a lot of miles on my bike. The weather has been so settled and beautiful for the time of year that it is a pity not to be out in it when the sun is shining and the air is clear and exhilarating.
Here's a new piece I'm working on - still plenty to do, but I'm pretty sure about where this is going.

And here are a few pictures of my beautiful part of the world in the middle of winter, as seen from the saddle of a bicycle.

I got shivers up my spine when I saw your sculpting.
what a marvelous piece. It really needs to be put in a top notch exhibition.
The photos of the country surrounding you look so relaxing.
Thinking of you.

This piece is amazing...I have been gone to my seasonal job in a greenhouse where we work so hard for so many hours that all else is excluded...I felt the grief in this post and began the journey back to the post where Bob has passed. My heart is broken for your loss and I am amazed that you continue on at all. Yesterday my brother-in-law "BOB" passed suddenly and in an instant. I am so sorry, Susie. I wish I had words to comfort...

Hi Susie
Your new work evokes many emotions, but a beautiful serenity is there. Love your scenic photos and happy to see a frothy reward there too!

Your sculpture looks completed already to me. I love the new direction you are going although I realize this is just a series. I know you will continue with your fabulous dolls as well.

You are making great strides by taking one day at a time. Biking and enjoying hot chocolate, attempting new things. You are on your way!
