Renaissance Girl - work in progress

Here is a new one-of-a-kind doll I am working on. She will be wearing Renaissance-inspired clothing, and will have a cloth fawn as her companion. The doll is cloth, with a moulded cloth head (with neck joint) and a hand-knotted mohair wig. She is posed here amongst the silks, including some vintage silk, that I am using to make the clothing.

Gorgeous! I got to see your doll that you sent to the Houston Quilt show last year and have been a fan ever since.....can't wait to see this one finished!

She took my breath away. Fabulous work. Wish you could do a class on this. So many techniques to learn.
