Well......I haven't posted in a while, but I have been busy. I'm going to be in the US for two months from the end of March, so preparing for that is keeping me preoccupied. Here is a picture of a baby, reproduced from a 1915 Horsman head that someone gave me years ago. Also a couple of pics of things in the works - a small sculptural work that should be finished later this week and a doll inspired by 'Hope' made by Robin of http://www.robinseggbleu1.blogspot.com/. There is a picture of 'Hope' on the sidebar - go to Robin's blog and read for yourself the story behind the doll - it is sad, but inspirational. I'm calling my doll 'Charity' - now we just need someone to make a 'Faith' and we'll have 'Faith, Hope and Charity"!
Oh..... and a couple of pictures of grand-daughter, Leila, in her first dance performance at 'Festivale'.

Your coming to the States? Are you having a show? It would be great to meet you, and by the way how can you be a grandmother! You are a very young spirit, in blog form.

Lovely baby Susie, I adore babys. You have been busy! Nice works. I heard a little bird say you were coming to the states but they didn't say if you were teaching classes or where? I'd love to know! Best, Ani
Susi, the baby is beautiful! Cute pics of your granddaughter's dance
troupe too!
Sue:)
Thanks, gals! Unfortunately, Kaerie, the blog persona belies the reality! I think my grand-daughter thinks I am a 'cool' Nan (I think that's good?) I'll be in the States from 30 March to 30 May.
We'll be a AFIC in Columbus, Ohio, also classes in Texas, Maryland & Kentucky. We're also checking out the Chicago Quilt Fair and I'm hoping to catch up with some good friends while I am there. Woohoo - can't wait!
What a beautiful baby doll! She is just fantastic!!! well all your work is! Have a fun trip in the states. Say hi to Rose in Maryland. Sure wish I could take your class!
hugs Karen
