Here is a little working drawing for my next doll - a response to the ADO Halloween Challenge. Halloween is just not a 'thing' here........the seasons and colours are all wrong for a start! So I've never actually made anything with a Halloween theme........this petulant little witch will be a first. See how it goes.
For any of you keeping an eye out for my 100th post giveaway.........I think this is number 88.

I love the idea of a pensive witch, sort of makes you wonder if she's sad to be missing the Halloween fun.
Wow! This should be a fun little witch to see come to life. You know I am waiting anxiously for your return to the US. Looking to take a class from you for sure. Have you ever noticed the words you have to type to post a comment to make sure your not a spammer? Mine for this post is Flogine. Fun name I think.
Sans the hat she reminds me a bit of Cinderella in her Cinders phase. But maybe it's just because of her little mouse friend. Can't wait to see how she turns out.
well, for someone who doesn't do Halloween you got the stripe soxs part down. It isn't Halloweenie here in Florida, but that doesn't stop us from celebrating the Great Pumpkin and all the stuff, beside, it is just an excuse to eat candy corn LOL

I love her already. The drawing itself is beautiful.
Beautiful drawing. It's interesting to see how things go from 2D to 3D. :-) She looks a bit sad. Is there a classic tale associated with Serafina that I've missed?
Susie, Halloween is such fun as there are so many themes you can use and it is when everyone into Halloween expects things to be a bit creepy. I love it as you can be whatever you want to be for a day and no one thinks your weird only that you have a great costume! cheers Bobbi a transplanted Yank
