Hannelore

This is the fourth completed doll I've made using my "Pensive Child" face mould. Although they have all come out of the same mould, they look quite different with very different hairstyles. This one reminds me so much of a German child from the 1930's, that I had to give her an appropriate old-fashioned German name - Hannelore. She has custom made leather shoes, hand-knitted socks and cardigan, a dress made from reproduction fabric and a little batiste apron with feather stitching. She will be listed in my Etsy store shortly

She's adorable and looks very much like a child from the 1930s. The little shoes are amazing as are the other items of clothing. You do wonderful work Susie. Hugs

Wonderful wee German girl, looks like she belongs in the Sound of Music. :~) These identity verification words are getting harder and harder to make out with these old eyes I might add, :~(

Just beautiful Susie - there are certain children who you know have been on Earth before - and Hannelore reminds me of one of the wise young toddlers who have that "knowing" look.
