Apple Girl

As promised, here is more of "Millie" with her basket of apples. I made her basket using fine cane and her apples are rather inedibly made from painted paperclay.

Oh, I'm really getting into this painting lark! Here are a couple more I've completed - green apples and some poisonous looking toadstools - and two more elf babies in felted buntings.

Strudelpomme, the apple-elf

This benign little being can sometimes be seen by the astute elf-watcher scavenging in restaurant garbage cans, compost heaps and the like for discarded apple-cores from which the pips are mined. These are carefully saved in his little satchel for later planting where a need is seen.

Maura Kathleen O'Mahoney Fetchin' Apples

Here she is complete with her basket of fresh apples. Thanks to Mary Wiseman for suggesting the name 'Maura', since she looks a little Irish (I agree). I thought she deserved a full name, so she is 'Maura Kathleen O'Mahoney'.
