I have also finished putting the final touches on "The Girl With A Pearl". I needed to do a little more painting on the face and do a finish on the outside of the box.
I've been having great fun with OWOH and I've had lots of lovely visitors to my blog. Only problem is, I could waste a whole heap of time visiting blogs when I should be working!
The event goes until February 17th so there is plenty of time to get in with a few entires for some of the fabulous door prizes being offered by bloggers all over the world. If you want to enter mine, just go to the OWOH post below and leave a comment there. Simple as that.

They're all gorgeous and I especially love the Girl with the Pearl Earing.
The girl with a pearl is very good.
I've just started following your blog after finding you through the OWOH, I am so pleased I did.
The girl with the pearl earring is wonderful, so fantastic!!
As always, your dolls are beyond amazing! I too have been spending too much time visiting other blogs and neglecting my own, as well as my dollmaking. I just began work as a museum curator and boy does that suck up an awful lot of time!
I love your tutorial on painting your IZ inspired doll. I have never tried a burnt umber undercoat, but like the depth you got out of that step. And of course, I love the sculpted hair (clay or thread?) , and the fact that its definitely your doll, not a strict reproduction. She is wonderful!
I find is so amazing and inspiring that no matter what "style" of a doll you make--historical, whimsical, or modern-art, it's always so clearly a Susie McMahon doll.
I hope you are enjoying your OWOH ride! There are sooo many creative and wonderful ladies out there that it amazes me...
